So since the laws have change with SSM, the rules have also relaxed with the guidelines of celebrants being other things to B&G’s, such as MC, make up, hair, car service etc etc. It was considered to be a conflict of interest and the AG department frowned upon us if we didn’t have clearance from them. I have 3 packages: Till the First Dance - Meet before your event to go through the details- Arrive 1 hour before reception begins to ensure everything is set up as per plan- Welcome all guests and speakers- Ensure all guests are seated and help usher them to their seats- Ensure the correct food and wine is served throughout the night- Ensure the bride and groom are always attended to- Ensure the bridal party are all taken care of all night- Ensure the parents, grandparents of the bride and groom are looked after- Ensure the bridal suit is always ready to go to- Ensure the meals are served on time in line with the chef- Ensure the drinks are always being served- Ensure that the speakers are all prepared and well informed- Ensures that the DJ/Musicians are all taken care of- Ensures the bride and groom don't have to go chasing a waiter or staff member- Ensures all elements of the night are actioned and executed Till the Garter/Bouquet - all of the above- Have the room ready for the garter & bouquet throwing Till the end - all of the above- Ensure the group is ready for the farewell circle, guard of honour and sparkles- Ensure your get away bag is packed and in the car ready to go- Close the door to the get away car to bid farewell and congratulations!
